This is supposedly a byproduct of the nuclear power plant disaster, yeah?
‘cause that happened in 2011, whereas instances of this photo dating from 2008 onward can be found all over the internet. I’m pretty sure this is just your average, mutated flower. Why wouldn’t there be a whole field of mutant plants? This kind of stuff happens to flowers more than you’d think, and particularly to daisies. More mutant flowers here and explanations of what can cause this kind of abnormal growth!
But yeah once again tumblr is a haven of false ‘facts.’

You should look at the link to the other mutant flowers.

The Mysterious Pink Lake
Lake Hillier is located in Western Australia. The pink color of the lake is permanent, and does not change when taken out of the lake. It is still unknown why the water is pink. Some researchers suggest that the lake’s pink color is caused by a dye created by the organisms Dunaliella salina and Halobacteria. Others suggest that it is is due to the red halophilic bacteria living in the salt crust deposits surrounding the lake. Despite the unusual color, the lake exhibits no known adverse effects upon humans.

Slightly relevant to an ask you just got about playing SBURB, I didn’t see it in your masterlist but there’s a great fan-created Homestuck tabletop RPG, based off Gamma World and 4E Dungeons and Dragons
The thread can be found here, but the downloads on that page are down, someone re-uploaded them to google docs but those links were also down (for me) but I’m not sure how reliable google docs is, so if those links also don’t work for you I re-uploaded them to ge.tt
